Rules
1) Don't be a douchebag; be considerate of other players' feelings, respect them and their ideas. Everyone here is human.
2) No godmodding. You can't do something to another character, move them or give them emotions without their player's express approval.
3) If you have a problem with something, take it to the mods - don't wank about it. If you have a problem with one of the mods, you can go to one of the others. There are two of us! If you have a problem with both of the mods, we beg you to come tell us about it because something's clearly going wrong.
4) Everyone will be required to post at least one (1) plot-related thread per month. You have the month to complete it. Those playing an Order member or a Death Eater will need to post at least two (2) plot-related threads per month. Posting requirements do not apply to players on haitus. Activity checks will take place every 28th of the month. You've been warned.
5) Players can have a maximum of three (3) characters until the first check, after which point the maximum becomes four (4). After their second check, players can have a maximum of five (5) characters.
6) All threads should be written in the 3rd person narrative.
7) Everything posted in the main community should be in character. There is an OOC community for all the other stuff.
8) Everything should be public except for posts in the OOC community, which should all be private to friends. Journal entries and threads should all be public. If you wish to limit certain characters from seeing them, that goes in the subject line, or place instructions to that effect as part of the entry.
9) Mod decisions are final. We're always willing to listen to suggestions, and will take them into consideration, but we have the final say.
10) From time to time, the mods will introduce game-wide plot. Your characters will be expected to react to it. They will be affected.
11) Recognize that in-game actions have in-game consequences, please. If your character speaks out against the ministry in a public setting, expect bad things to happen.
12) Please understand that OOC knowledge =/= IC knowledge. While you, as a player, may know how Danielle feels about your character, unless her feelings have been expressed in game, your character is likely unaware. Remember that what you know as a player and what your character knows are two separate things. If the mods see instances of you using OOC knowledge in game, you will be given a warning. If the mods see it happen a third time, you will be removed from the game.
13) We welcome your plot ideas! Also if you intend on introducing plot that will affect several characters - or even the whole game - we ask that you inform the mods before implementing it.
