THE MINISTRY OF MAGIC

The Ministry of Magic is currently under the control of Voldemort. He has placed all Death Eaters within the Ministry. The following is a list of all Ministry Departments.

The DMLE controls the Snatchers and Hitwizards. Snatchers are responsible for locating Order members and other Enemies of the Ministry. Hitwizards are responsible for patrolling wizarding areas (Diagon, Hogsmeade) and enforcing current laws. Snatchers have more responsibility than Hitwizards.

The Misuse of Muggle Artifacts Office has been shut down. Any witch or wizard found to be in possession of a Muggle Artifact is fined heavily.

Each pureblood family in good standing with the Ministry has a spot in the Wizengamot. The seat will be occupied by the eldest man in the family. If there is not a man able to take the seat, his wife or daughter will be eligible to sit in his place.

Accidental Magic Reversal Squad: This team is the first on the scene when a magical accident or catastrophe occurs. The team will include trained Obliviators to modify memories of Muggles on the scene.

THE LAWS

Marriage Law: It is decreed by the Ministry of Magic that pureblooded witches and wizards are only allowed to marry other purebloods or halfbloods with no muggles in their family tree within the last three generations.

If a pureblooded witch or wizard if found to be in relationship which goes against this law, both parties will be sent to Azkaban.

Curfew Law: It is decreed by the Ministry of Magic that all witches and wizards in Diagon Alley (including Knockturn) and Hogsmeade must be indoors by eleven o'clock in the evening on weeknights and one o'clock in the morning on weekends. Any witch or wizard found out in these ares after curfew will be fined ten Galleons. A second offense will result in a double fine. A third offense will result in one evening spent in Azkaban prison along with twenty-five hours of community service.

Slavery Law: Muggleborn witches and wizards have no legal rights under the current administration. They will be captured and sent to Azkaban. At that time, they will serve a minimum for two months before being eligible for slavery. Before a muggleborn wizard or witch is permitted to be a slave, they must pledge their loyalty to the Ministry, admit they have stolen magic and apologize for their actions. Muggleborn witches and wizards will be placed in approved magical homes.

Halfblood witches and wizards have limited legal rights. Children of one Muggle parent will be placed in Azkaban and will serve a minimum of two months before being eligible for slavery. Before a halfblood wizard or witch is permitted to be a slave, they must pledge their loyalty to the Ministry, admit they have stolen magic and apologize for their actions. Halfblood witches and wizards will be placed in approved magical homes. Imprisoned/Enslaved Halfbloods, however, may be able to regain full citizenship if they a) have no muggle parents and b) prove their loyalty to the Ministry.

Any witches and wizards who are known associates of the Order must provide the Ministry with information regarding the members before being eligible for the slavery program.

Requirements for Slave Owners
All witches and wizards in good standing with the Ministry of magic are able to apply for a slave. After completing the application, Ministry officials will conduct interviews with the applicant, their known family and friends and complete inspections of their workplace and home. The Ministry reserves the right to deny any application without explanation.
